Common Inquiries

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Proof of vaccinations in paper form is required prior to THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay services.
Rabies, DAPP & Bordetella are required. All vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to checking in. You may bring your pet’s regular diet to be fed while they visit. You may bring your pet’s favorite bed, blanket or toy for their visit.

WILL MY PET HAVE FOOD AND WATER?

All dogs at THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay will have access to fresh bottled Sparklett’s water throughout their visit.
Your pet will be provided meals in their own room based on the feeding times you provide at check-in.  During the Meet & Greet we will go over the meals and feeding times.  You may bring their food with you for their visit.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE OLDER PETS?

The health and safety of your pet is my main priority. Older pets who are in good health may stay at THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay. Additional bedding and relief walks can be provided upon request.  During the Meet & Greet we'll go over whether they're on any medications, restrictions, and other pertinent safety information.

HOW WILL I KNOW HOW MY PET DID DURING THEIR VISIT?

THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay keeps detailed records of your pet’s visit and stay. You will be provided with a report card at checkout detailing your pet’s visit. You can also call to check on your pet anytime during their stay. Additionally, should you plan to be away for an extended period of time and worry that you will miss your little dog, please feel free to schedule a Facetime session so you can see and talk to your furry friend from wherever you are!

DO YOU PERFORM GROOMING OR TRAINING?

THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay is currently set up for overnight and daycare services. As such, if you’re interested in a family training session with your pet, please be sure to let us know! If we have enough client interest, a Professional Trainer can be contracted to host a 1-hour training session after hours.
Bubble baths, nail clipping, and teethbrushing can be provided to your pet upon request. Should you be
interested in professional grooming services, please let us know so we may help coordinate advance notice to reserve a full Grooming service.

WILL MY DOG BE MOSTLY IN A CRATE ALL DAY?

No. THE FOUNTAIN, Tiny Canines Play & Stay prides itself as a boutique-style business that customizes and caters to each client file in a way that best suits their needs and schedule- and their pet’s needs and schedule.

A “Meet & Greet” appointment is required for all dogs at least one day in advance, prior to any services rendered. Great care and effort will go into tailoring a plan that works for you, and it helps to evaluate your pet’s comfortability around other pets, establish behavioral hierarchy, identify training opportunities, and all preferences from the very beginning. You will be provided with a tour of the property inside (and outdoors). You and your pet can pick their room and take comfort knowing they'll be free from the cage all day long. Or, if your pet feels more comfortable in their crate, please bring it so they can lay in it with the door open, if that’s their preference.
